Yesterday we were again treated to a long, leaf-masked view of EJ in the Love Tree, but prior to that in the early morning she had spent 20 minutes on her nest looking extremely fit and beautiful.
If that looks unfinished, that's because it is. I ran out of resources. It's just as well you have your original, BIRDIE ;)
Another day with no sign of GJ. I sincerely hope he is well, wherever he is.

Scylla's capture on 29 April or GJ, is very similar to Limpy's capture today. I would venture to agree with Limpy that is was GJ, and not another male. EJ mantled, but did not call, nor resist. She knew who the bird was.
Limpy's capture today
29 May when GJ landed with a fish!
He has quite a distinctive dark mark on the lower chest, top of thigh area - but we really needed head markings, and he didn't oblige!
11.27 EJ is back, looking around. She clearly has company today.

I was about to say "nap time" when EJ landed to receive GJ on the first occasion, now I've got to sort out this network problem again. And for her last landing, I'd rebooted the LG laptop, set it all up again and forgot to hit Record cos I was bustin' :'(
11.32 One moment she was there
a sneaky edit! Carnyx YouTube
and as I snipped, she flew!

Looking thru some old photos, I came across this photo of a sketch which was pinned to the FH wall in 2010. It shows a new tree growing at the foot of the camera mast/dead tree. You can see how much it has grown in the past eight years, if it is the culprit of the waving branches in front of the camera during Storm Hector. But it also suggests - sketch on the right - that there is one live branch coming from below the dead tree, which I don't think is there now. Which also begs the question, how long will a dead tree remain standing, and how long will Odin's perch be stable!
12.01 EJ has returned with her welcoming chirrup.
She's back agan, little pipe, wings spread, now relaxed-ish, waiting...
I'm not going to be functional for a long time, methinks :'(
She appears to be watching and keeping an eye around her
