Re the ID of yesterday's male - I don't think we can tell without seeing a lot more, as the head and other markings can vary with the weather. I know that Trying pronounced the underwing to be wrong for GJ, and if I were more organised I'd fish out comparison snaps...
EJ's behaviour was "different", as it has been on a few occasions recently - she's been so much more animated.
