HAPPY NEW WEEK!
I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
In case anyone missed the exciting announcement, the NASA Curiosity Rover found preserved organic material, as well as a mysterious level of methane gas, on Mars. These two discoveries indicate that Mars well could have sustained life in the past, and life could even exist there now in some form. NASA Press ReleaseThe Independent, UK

There was some bonking action on the Dyfi nest this morning, got this for LIMPY's birthday - couldn't get all 3, one had opted out from tiredness ;)
I wonder if anyone has a link to CLARE's Just Giving page? I've searched 'n searched, but...
IMAGICAT

Birdies LG DU update.
We went to Eden Court to see the film "Edie" this afternoon. It is about a disillusioned lady in her 80s climbing "Suilven". The lead is played by Sheila Hancock who climbed the mountain herself and at the age or 85 has become the oldest person to do so. Amazing.
Didn't know that, Dibnlib. She is an amazing woman, still going strong and refusing to give up and "be old"
We had bright sunshine alternating with heavy clouds. Now its all gone grey and dark, but still don't think we are going to get any rain!
Good evening, all. I did the walk - thankfully it was overcast throughout, which was ideal. We went on to lunch at Minsmere, by which time the sun was out - phew! I'm absolutely knackered but feeling a bit better after a longish rest.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
