After an enormous fish delivery from George and a male intruder yesterday, EJ must be sleeping well tonight.© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild

Wonderful captures everyone.
Just checking in to catch up. It is great that the roving cam is working again, and to see EJ on the tree is a real treat, instead of looking at an empty nest.
The thought of EJ holding on to that fish all night makes me smile, it certainly was a whopper.
She is having a little shut eye now and again lol.
Hope she stays around for you all.

Just a 'couple' of snaps from this morning.
I nearly forgot the poop and stretch snaps
Hello my fellow Ospreyholics
Thanks for all the updates, pictures etc since I last posted. What amazing drama last evening! Glad EJ got a huge fish during the stamash. Of course credited must go to George where its due. I honestly think he must be one of the most confusing and at times frustrating male Ospreys out there. There's been occasions when he has showed great form but sadly these have been rare. Just wish he could keep up high standards all the time, and not just now and again. Part of me hopes in future years he turns out to be a great Osprey, and we can look back at his first season and comment on how well he is now doing despite a dodgy first season.
EJ is perched on a branch just now, surveying her domain, and looking phenomenal. It looks like a beautiful day at Loch Garten, and it's lovely to see the sun shining on EJ's feathers. Not too sure we have sound though. I need to hear birdsong to confirm. I can just hear a humming noise.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Cam is resetting
Lots of spinning
ooo-errr umm
Big THANK YOU for the captures and videos from the roaming cam. It is indeed a treat to see EJ in the environment surrounding the nest (even without sound). OOPS, now she's got her head cut off!
