EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
I was finally able to look in last night, and now this morning (after a *** of a week). And i got the impression that at least one chick was and is still rather hungy. I hope to see some fish soon. And less chick-bashing too please o.-
Of course my impressions may be an unlucky draw, as i havent been able to watch regularly of late. (I sure hope this last bit gets remedied from now on.)
2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!
just now, lovely summer-ish bird sounds in the backgruond, and one on the former-larch
both Telyn and the cam zoomed in as soon as i posted the anove:

Glad to see you back, Otter, and I hope the *** is all behind you now :-*
I was so happy to see Telyn stuffing herself - I meant to mention at the time of the chick-stomping that her crop was hollow, and even tho she was eating the kids' portions, they were only kids' portions.

Trying to feed the chicks but Monty won't move.
