Maya has flown now, but she was on the nest with a fish piece and another huge fish in the middle of the nest. Not far from fledging time now for these two I would think.

The certainly seem to be spending a lot of time on the edges of the nest looking all around them.
Birdies LG DU update.
Just caught up and saw your photos Sheila, thank you for sharing, looks like you all had a lovely day.

Excellent news Alan (and Mike, thank you!!).
3AU is back home safely from his wee adventure, and looking inquisitively at the environs, while 3AW preens!
I am not really surprised to hear the news. One of them, and that was presumably 3AU, was flapping away, and adding a little helicoptering, when I was there on Friday.

I'm working my way backwards, so have now caught up with all the posts.
Thank you for your report patily, sounds like you really enjoyed your day at Rutland, and what a wonderful surprise that Sheila, Mike & his wife were there.
Thank you Mike for your lovely photos, nice to see everyone had a good time.
Thank you Alan & Sheila for the fledging news, glad all went well and he has returned safely.
Well done 3AU! Is he a record breaker?
Only one at home.

Apparently he took off again at 12.48, came back to the nest for a short while then off again
