We saw a lot of EJ yesterday, she was lively and positive, IMHO. She didn't know what to do about the eggs, but was more enthusiastic about the nest, bringing sticks - and behaving with GJ (when he put in an appearance to defend) more like the beginning of the season than the middle :-/
But after a fruitful day the day before, GJ was back to his old ways - no fish for EJ, tho she waited 2 hours, knowing he had a fish.
It is painful to watch EJ being so poorly treated, to watch her suffer another season with her mission unfulfilled...
...even tho we are scientists and know that there is a bigger picture.

IMAGICAT
Checking thru since midnight, the only activity on the nest has been that of the resident insects.

Glad to see you :-* Sounds like you had a good time, CC :)
EJ just landed, some little chirps. She's just standing.
She landed with a foot on an egg:
She flinched as GJ flew over:
She's been mildly fish-calling, one would have thought, if one didn't know there was no fish in view.
Now:
Good Morning Scylla and all who follow
Thank you for starting us off Scylla with that beautiful framed opening photo of EJ - aww it is a heart melter LOL... your words hit home, we think alike, EJ deserves sooooooooooooooo much better.
She was on the nest when I opened up, but I heard the flap of wings and she has gone.
I didn't even have time to take a snip of her.

Nest still empty.
I have to go now as things to do and places to go :-) - will check in later to catch up
Hope EJ puts in lots of appearances for you all.

Have a good day :)
I didn't respond earlier has I simply had to eat, all of a sudden, and that involved microwaving several things! *fluster-fluster*.
As Mary reported, EJ left - she had a semi-potter first:
Resited a stick:
Removed some debris from eggs:
Flapped:
Flew:
She flew out of the right of our screens and I didn't see her turn back in.
Good Morning all It has taken nearly an hour to get any of the nests or thread but it looks as though I haven't missed anything here I hope we see our gorgeous EJ today
