I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

That must be a strange situation to be in, Pat. Such uncertainty.
Just popped in to say good-morning. Lots to reply to, but for now will just say pulled muscle has eased slightly and definitely shopping and lunch with OH today. Also a Bee Fest held by the Academy Bee Group this evening, but will try to BBL!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Good that its easing, OG. Enjoy your lunch out.
I'm thinking of going to Wales on my own, as my OH wants to play golf both tomorrow and Thursday mornings, and its such nice weather. Also, I don't have any dentist appointments this week! I could go tomorrow, if I get myself organised.... He can join me on Thursday for a few days.
Forgot to say, that the excitement of last weekend was that our sis-in-law has announced that she has now booked a holiday abroad.... leaving on the very day that Awful Cousin arrives! I am so pleased for her, and also hope that A. Cousin takes the hint...
Bonnie, relaxing....
Quiet on here today. I've been to nearby town to collect my two bras from M&S, plus a pack of knickers. Managed to order them at the weekend online, with the discount I wanted. Yay! Also bought some M&S Food to take with me tomorrow.
Started packing and it seems strange without thinking of my OH, as usually I pack for him, too! But I will be taking some clothes for him, anyway, as he's not to be trusted to remember everything he needs!
Sorry, LINDY- I had such good intentions of posting but every time that I sat down, the phone rang! Two daughters needing to offload today, and more than once. Both had a legitimate grievance.... Enjoy your time in Wales x
It hasn't really stopped raining here today and it is only 7degrees. I had the heating on for a while, late afternoon.
Good to see Bonnie again, LINDA; who will she travel with for the weekend? Sounds a good plan, that you will go ahead while OH plays golf! Glad you could stock up on underwear to pack - and M&S Food, of course!
HEATHER - those Daughters of yours … but they so appreciate having you there. Had an Email from Dau#2 today (first since her wedding) - almost chatty with news of young Miriam, so hopefully she is mellowing!
Our day worked out well - shopping quite quick (even including three Fuchsias to replace the ones OH has drowned) and good lunch at icecream farm - just sandwich and salad with real milkshake. Had to go there to replenish icecream in freezer at home. The Bee event at the Academy was very good; it's great that the local Beekeepers Association is supporting the young ones in their Bee Club. They also invited some other craft makers along, so it was a pricey evening for OH! We met up with some people we had not seen for a long time, and J had a long conversation with an ex-pupil whom he encouraged several years ago and who is doing well at college.
I hope all is well with today's non-posters - take care, ALL.
Goodness, Heather - what contrasting weather. I had to put the air conditioning on in the car on the way home this afternoon, and it was so hot I could feel the steering wheel was like a radiator pipe. Hope your listening ear helped your daughters.
Your lunch sounded good as usual, OG! I've never been to a Bee Event! Glad that you heard from your daughter.
PBS (U.S. public broadcasting) has an extraordinary livestream of the volcano erupting in Hawaii on their Facebook page. You may have to click on "Videos" on the menu on the left side of the screen, and it will take you directly to the live video. Turn on your sound. The sounds are incredible.
Evening all: I've no idea where the time goes.
Lynette: Let us know how visit to doc's goes.
OG: Bless you (that's for the rape seed sneeze attack).Glad the Bee Fest didn't involve any pollen. How nice to get chatty e-mail from Dau#2; she must be happy.
PatO; I'm sure you know that the Hawaiian islands were all created by eruptions (I think it's the earth's crust that is sliding over the "leaks" in the core). I can imagine it's more than a little disconcerting to see the earth's molten interior flowing through the neighborhood....)
Lindybird: Oh my. Let us know how news of your SiL's trip is received on this side of the Pond. How is SiL explaining the scheduling (or is she worried about that?) I see Bonnie is coping well with her demanding schedule. Are you both driving to the caravan? Good you made it to M&S; you wouldn't want to leave home without those essentials.
Heather: Maybe your daughters could unload on each other? :-))
Diane: I'm wondering how long the Kilauea eruption will go on. I gather that lava was being thrown 300 ft into the air - it's hard to get a perspective from the videos. Don't like the sound of all that toxic gas either... And, of course, there are those people that simply refuse to evacuate. :-(
Am about to launch another photo segment!
