What an uneventful day we just survived :o We heard that the cold weather accompanied by high winds all day prevented many birds from carrying out their usual fishing routines, and GJ was among them... until evening, when he turned up for the first time on-cam with a very fine fat headless fish.
This could be compliments of MOFFER or LIMPY, who both posted a similar batch of snaps. It shows the girth of the fish very well.
The rest of the evening was plagued with cam up-n-downs but it seems to be steady now.
EJ has looked rather doddery, maybe the windiness kept her off-balance. She has settled with a good tail portion of fish for company, only the fin showing at midnight;

It was like something like out of War of the Worlds, Trying, very alien.

And then I went off owling, CC, and stuffing my face again :'( Never mind, we know we're both on the same planet ;)
I was thinking what a relief it is and how lovely it is to see EJ blessed with a fine evening again :-*
I'm off to see if I have any golden glows and/or rainbows :)
Night cam has come on. 22:00
See you tomorrow.
A windy dry night, with EJ lying on her eggs, looking relaxed, but not yet asleep.
