What an uneventful day we just survived :o We heard that the cold weather accompanied by high winds all day prevented many birds from carrying out their usual fishing routines, and GJ was among them... until evening, when he turned up for the first time on-cam with a very fine fat headless fish.
This could be compliments of MOFFER or LIMPY, who both posted a similar batch of snaps. It shows the girth of the fish very well.
The rest of the evening was plagued with cam up-n-downs but it seems to be steady now.
EJ has looked rather doddery, maybe the windiness kept her off-balance. She has settled with a good tail portion of fish for company, only the fin showing at midnight;

12.47 GJ has flown. EJ remains incubating
Wow, I heard the boyish alarm chips from the kitchen, so nice to see GJ on the nest, if for a not-nice reason. He's flown, as will have already been reported ;)

Video will be posted in my own "sweet time", other things to do first ;)
Right, let's start again!! Hello! I've had the laptop on but been doing other things. I heard the pouring rain, poor EJ. Good to see last night's bit deliver, which I missed, is still proving food for her. Was that the first time GJ has been seen today? Must go back and check.
Hi all, thank you for all the posts, pics etc.
Earlier on there was talk of one of the eggs being broken, is this still thought to be the case?

12.57 GJ arrives with a large stick, disturbs EJ who gets up, and take the opportunity of a comfort break. GJ watches her, then steps in to incubate!
