What an uneventful day we just survived :o We heard that the cold weather accompanied by high winds all day prevented many birds from carrying out their usual fishing routines, and GJ was among them... until evening, when he turned up for the first time on-cam with a very fine fat headless fish.
This could be compliments of MOFFER or LIMPY, who both posted a similar batch of snaps. It shows the girth of the fish very well.
The rest of the evening was plagued with cam up-n-downs but it seems to be steady now.
EJ has looked rather doddery, maybe the windiness kept her off-balance. She has settled with a good tail portion of fish for company, only the fin showing at midnight;
IMAGICAT
EJ has had enough and leaves the tail and skin either for later or for George She has settled back on egg duty
Didn't see you there MARY Have a good day
Hi Patily. I looked in and just followed all your updates! Thank you.
Good morning to anyone still around and those to come.
Birdies LG DU update.
Hi MIKE
Morning all - thanks for all the updates and captures.
Horrible day but nice to see EJ has had some breakfast - that was a huge fish the male delivered last night!
As I type, someone just flew by?
Morning everyone, oh dear, horrible wet night, poor EJ soaked, but so pleased she's eaten. Thanks for all the updates, that fish yesterday, was amazing.

Well spotted Karen.
Heading for the cam tree?
Morning all, and what a wet one. It's raining cats and dogs here too, and windy :o((
EJ's up, flapped and flew......straight back with chirps, and having some more fish tail. It's more skin than fish
Another flap to shed more water
and back to eating the skin
That looks quite disgusting, but if you're hungry, you'll eat anything!
Back on the eggs as it starts to rain again
She's soaking :o((
