Summary of the season so far:
Maya arrived back 12 March and Blue 33(11),on 14 March. The pair are currently incubating three eggs - #1 laid 28 March, #2 laid 31 March and #3 on 3 April.
Maya and 33 have incubated these eggs for 34 days now and in a few days we should see the first hatching of the season and another record broken!
The chicks are doing well with fish today - another top up

The little chick that was trampled on appears to look OK and all are stuffed full now and settled down to sleep
33 has arrived for some fish which he takes while Maya sees to the chicks

Anya's blog is so appropriately titled considering 33 left the nest and returned with a fish in 4 minutes.

My goodness, I wish that had happened when I was there! I only saw fly passes, which was great in itself! I would love to see one land on the dead tree near the hide where the cormorants hang out together.

Another gorgeous evening in Manton Bay. 33 came in and took away the last of the fish, after a bit of stickwork.
He's brought the fish back now for Maya to feed to the chicks.
