Summary of the season so far:
Maya arrived back 12 March and Blue 33(11),on 14 March. The pair are currently incubating three eggs - #1 laid 28 March, #2 laid 31 March and #3 on 3 April.
Maya and 33 have incubated these eggs for 34 days now and in a few days we should see the first hatching of the season and another record broken!
Cam seems to be playing up just now. Mines keeps freezing :-(
Maya is standing and still looks like hatch is still in progress

Stream playing up for me too Karen.
I've spoken to Anya who, like me, thinks the most likely cause is overload.......can't imagine why!
Birdies LG DU update.
Greetings from Waderscrape. I can confirm that there is a hole in the egg/pipped, but as you can see, a clump of grass is obscuring the view. 33 is on campost. The noise of the snall birds nearby is almost deafening, and in chorus with the occasional outburst of the geese, and a passing train!
Anya told me there were 22 returnees, but they can't confirm the number of pairs.
Blue 6K was seen on Lagoon 4, but hasn't been seen for a few days.

Good to have you there Sheila. Enjoy your time. Website stream playing up....we think due to overload.
LOL talk about on the spot reporting...and none of the eight people here, including the vol, have no idea where he went. Returned with twig, and now flown to the shortened wonky post!!
The fish on the nest with the red fins is a roach.
Mike - thanks for the cam update.
Sheila - how lovely for you to be at RW and a hatch on the go too. But also, what a pleasant surprise for us you being there and getting some on the spot reporting as Mike says, the LS is playing up!
Any news about Site B ? I have always wondered if anyone took up residence after 03(97).
I've not asked about that, but will when I leave. Anya may of course not be willing to say.
33 took the fish from the nest and is eating it on a fallen tree with an upright branch to the left of the campost on the far bank.
I have no idea what this looks like, LOL, it's far to small for my eyes. Taken from the screen when May got up a short while ago.
Thanks Sheila. Look forward to hearing all about your visit and hopefully see some photos too once you're back home and settled.
But thanks for any info you manage to post today - appreciated and enjoy your visit.
