Summary of the season so far:
Maya arrived back 12 March and Blue 33(11),on 14 March. The pair are currently incubating three eggs - #1 laid 28 March, #2 laid 31 March and #3 on 3 April.
Maya and 33 have incubated these eggs for 34 days now and in a few days we should see the first hatching of the season and another record broken!
33 returns with another stick! Plonks it somewhere?
33 flies off and Maya picks it up, once more moving the stick to safety

Maya has now settled back on the chicks.
I'm off out now to enjoy the May Day holiday - I expect more sticks may come in just hope the chicks don't get hurt! SYAL
Ah, he is testing the chicks. If you can survive having large sticks plonked on your heads repeatedly just after hatching then you'll be fine!
33 just brought a part-fish in to the nest, but Maya stayed put so eventually he flew off with it.
Talking about the success of S1 and S2 - I did a little video of the MB chicks progress in 2015.
Nice to see them as little bobbleheads and now both having returned, always amazing when they return.

That's lovely, Mary. Thanks for posting it.
33 just brought in a very fresh whole fish for the bobbles' lunch.
14:10 Maya has been on and off the nest for the past 10 minutes

Just beautiful. Thank you Mary :)
As I looked in both Maya and 33 seemed concerned about something above them They watched for a minute or so and then as 33 lifted his wings I saw that he had part of a fish underfoot Was he just leaving or arriving with it? He has now flown leaving the fish Is he after an intruder? Maya is still watching
I think it's the same fish that 33 brought in at 1.20-ish, patily. It's been on and off the nest ever since. They did look a bit concerned just now, I agree, but no great panic.
