Summary of the season so far:
Maya arrived back 12 March and Blue 33(11),on 14 March. The pair are currently incubating three eggs - #1 laid 28 March, #2 laid 31 March and #3 on 3 April.
Maya and 33 have incubated these eggs for 34 days now and in a few days we should see the first hatching of the season and another record broken!
Maya standing up and although I couldn't see it properly because of the glare I saw a little movement that proved that the miracle has happened again As I wrote that 33 arrived but has now flown already Maya has already settled back down and dear 33 probably realizes that he needs to go fishing
Morning All.
Thanks for all the updates. A bobble, a sunrise and a glorious day - what more could we ask for? :-))
Maya incubating just now, not a good view as sun glaring. There was a little fish piece left on the nest last night and I see that has gone - late night snack? Whatever, we know 33 to be an excellent provider and no doubt he will be in with a fish soon.
Ann - thanks for reply about incubation dates. Yes as to when recording starts is key.
Less 'tension' this morning Karen!!
Birdies LG DU update.
Morning Mike, yes .. that would be nice :-)
Belated congratulations to Maya & 33. Excellent news.
33 has arrived with a little piece of nesting material. Standing by Maya - his sitting days have ended unless this season he takes a turn brooding the chicks! We'll see :-)
It is a very strong glare just now - perhaps too strong for fishing. But he will!
33 back and having a good old trample round! Obviously wants to shift Maya and he's almost sitting on her. No effect!
Here's a wee snap of a lovely morning at Rutland

Maya flew off as I looked in.
Quickly returns.
