Summary of the season so far:
Maya arrived back 12 March and Blue 33(11),on 14 March. The pair are currently incubating three eggs - #1 laid 28 March, #2 laid 31 March and #3 on 3 April.
Maya and 33 have incubated these eggs for 34 days now and in a few days we should see the first hatching of the season and another record broken!
Regretfully a similar scene almost everywhere Karen.
Birdies LG DU update.
I know Mike, I am seeing the depressing sights as I work my way round the nests. What ever has happened to Spring?
We also need to remember that the hatchings here are going to be about 2 weeks early. Luckily Maya is a very experienced mother and I am sure she will keep her chicks warm.
Looking a little drier and brighter and 33 is on the nest just now fiddling about with some sticks :-)

I also notice at the back of the nest someone has brought in some nice fresh, dry hay.
33 has now flown.
Sun, blue skies and fluffy white clouds--amazing! Both on the nest until 33 flew.
Kind regards, Ann
Much better weather!

Just want to make sure this trip is known to all who follow this site.
Thanks Mike, would love to do that trip, but without checking the diary I am sure I will be elsewhere at that time :-)
