DYFI OSPREY PROJECT – MAY 2018

  • Thank you Mike, i had seen your post and checked the message there. My (new) problem has nothing to do with what they found is the problem for most. But i will await the big solving before alerting HQ to any other problems. Chances are mine (and i hope Gardenbirders) will be solved in one (and the same) go.

(Not that i know it all, but i used to work as web-developer and for an internet-provider.)

It is possible Jane, but as noone used the chat anymore, it is less likely then before. Anyways them changing the whole of it to another system, may well solve your problems in the end too. *fingers crossed*

2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!

  • Bit drier there now I think.

  • Forecast seems to indicate that rain is clearing from the West so hopefully the Welsh birds will get the benefit a while before the rest do. Currently pouring here in mid Sussex and set to continue as the band moves slowly Eastwards.

  • Hello Monty

  • Must have been a change over, Monty now incubating.

  • Saw Monty incubating for all of 5 seconds before the LS died again and didn't recover after repeated refreshes

  • Yes Patily it really is pot luck whether or not the LS works for me, and like you when I do get it, its gone in seconds, so I just snap as soon as I can lol

  • Just caught 3j back on the nest at 17.03

  • 3j has a name Telyn which is Welsh for harp.
