Summary of the season so far:
Mrs G arrived back 1 April and Aran on 5 April. The pair are currently incubating three eggs - #1 laid 19 April, #2 laid 22 April and #3 on 25 April and are due to hatch later this month.
More domestic scenes....
2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!
Would you believe that Arran is incubating and Mrs G is preening on the perch?!
Birdies LG DU update.
Just as I captured this the camera panned out and had a look around and focussed on an empty perch, until, guess who arrived Now having a thorough preen
C BGGW
Popped back and Aran still preening Don't think he's left a feather untouched
Just given himself a good shake and looks up, saying, "Don't I look handsome?" And he does
What a handsome boy!
Camera watching him flying around and he comes back to the nest with a stick which he places alongside Mrs G but then picks upagain and disturbs her She got up but immediately settled again Was he hoping for a go on the eggs? Now standing the edge Mrs G looks at him with incredulity
Probably thinking "stupid boy!"

i bet he broke off the twig flying, but it was hard to see on the webcam. My grabs come along your storyline Patily:
it was quite windy out there, he used his wings occasionaly to stay put
very hard to spot in stills, but he is coming back next:
she wasnt going to be moved...
allthough he could try the tail-end....(but he is only trying to place that twig, really)
she's rolling the eggs, nothing more then that
Aran has no choice but continue working on the twig
common girrrrl, you know what i'd like...
no sitting though, hmmmm
it made for wonderfull viewing :)
And succes in the end :)
just so you know Mike, it doesn't come easy you know ^^
(20ish mins later)
@9:49 she was warring with the nest material in front of her
sunshiny portrait @10:38h (still sharp / as ever ;) )
