Link to last post on Loch of the Lowes – April 2018
Summary of the season so far:
LF15/Lassie arrived back 20 March and LM12/Laddie on 29 March. The pair are currently incubating three eggs - #1 laid 14 April, #2 laid 16 April and #3 on 19 April and are due to hatch later this month.
There must be something near the mike at Lowes, very strange sounds happening.
I had to close all the cam's down to determine where the noise was coming from.
It seems to have stopped now. Maybe a bird tapping away :-)

The usual problem there Mary if you remember is the Blue Tits pinching the foam covering from the microphone for their nests!
Birdies LG DU update.
I had forgot about that Mike, but now that you mention it, it rings a bell :-)
Not a lot happening. Lassie sitting tight on those precious eggs.

From the rewind. Laddie brought in a huge stick or bark, and wanted to take a turn on the eggs.
Lassie leaves.
Not long later she returned.
Laddie brought in a fish about 25 mins ago.
Laddie incubating.
Good Morning all
Must have been a change over Mike, Lassie is incubating now. Will see if I can find the changeover by scrolling back.
EDIT I think I found it, but it wouldn't play, just got the burling wheel.
Three ospreys on the nest briefly!
GOSH ALISON Great capture but hope third bird has now departed
