Awwwww....Is she dreaming about George? GJ? JG? Geo? No, she just opened her eyes at the thought before shutting us out again. Here's Jess' reply to our collective doubts about the name. © RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild
Maybe it is just in the stars that we must let EJ and her new man define the new name, What about that?_______________________________________The Daily Update is for recording nest events only, allowing for banter, though—any questions or conversations can happen on the Osprey Chat thread. Will it be third time lucky for George? No. EJ is up, having a scratch at her foot... George is going to take over, she's flown.

Change over. No fish. EJ flies as George settles.

Morning, MIKE :)
Good morning, PATILY :) You were BOPS'd :( Hope your laptop performs well today.
Good morning MC.
Oh I though when I saw George here that there had been a fish
He doesn't seem to like fishing too early
No response:
George can hardly wait:
It's a serious business:
Good morning, all. Here's His Youthful Georgeness .........hmmmmmmmm:
Hmmmmmmm ......... HYG doesn't work either.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
I Googled the meaning of the name George and it comes from the Greek for farmer. I was hoping it would mean something more appropriate for our young fisherman.
moffer said:I just wanyed to say, that I am unable to call this beautiful Opsrey George (for personal reasons), so I will refer to him as Loch Garten Male,(LGM) alias Junior, officially named George I don't wish to upset anyone, especaly t the LG staff, and people here, but as I said, this is personal to me.
