Yesterday's DU saw over 300 posts, some 21 pages, the delivery of a big fish in the early evening, and an EGG. We Ospreyholics can celebrate EJ The Phenomenal, laying her third egg of the season. The time of arrival is likely to be confirmed at around 22.10. However EJ made us wait until just after 11pm before revealing all three eggs. My heart felt thanks goes out to everyone who posted pictures of EJ and her three eggs, in yesterday's DU. I personally tried to get a few decent screenshots but none turned out any good. Guess it must've been all the eggcitement.
Congratulations of course must go to EJ and her new mate. Junior will have a nice surprise in the morning. Of course speaking of whom, Junior deserves a massive amount of praise for the way he has been growing into the role of Resident Male Osprey at Loch Garten. As he learns on the job, under the expert coaching of his vastly experienced mate, it is a joy to watch his development.
