Yesterday's Daily Update saw some 370 posts, and spread to 25 pages. Trust me if you ever get the chance to read over it you will find it a great read. Not sure I could ever find the brevity to sum it up in one post.
Here's to Tuesday, and hopefully it will see EJ settle down with the most suitable male. She is on the nest just now. Quite windy at LG

Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
According to the forecast, winds are supposed to start decreasing from 17:00.
No change at the nest, EJ remains standing over the egg.
Male lands on EJ
She tips him off
He leaves
This male just seems to appear from nowhere!

just now. light has changed. still mighty windy.
2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!
I've watched for the last hour while having my dinner and no change.
Scene just the same as Otter's capture above.
18.42, no change, EJ is still pretty much in the same pose as Otter's picture. Ian
I have just come home from hospital after being there all afternoon and I thought that perhaps at least things had improved for poor EJ
Has she been given any fish
Hi Patily, hope all is well :-)
No, unfortunately no fish. What you see on screen is more or less what we have seen all afternoon. A male has appeared a couple of times and attempted to mate.

At least it's less windy now.
