One hardly knows what to say - except that EJ will be EJ, and if she doesn't take to this beautiful young man, that's her prerogative.
Yesterday's thread is short, as the only nest sightings we had were of New Male, and only brief ones.
LG posted a photo on their Facebook page of him in a tree with fish.
(This is what can happen when I try to change the frame colours from the standard choices.)
(Am having difficulty posting and linking, that will have to do.)

Thank you for starting the thread off Scylla and for your lovely framed photo of the new male.
Sad to say I was disappointed when I seen that "Ouch" on screen.....
Looks like today is going to be another guessing game type of day in more ways than one
Guesses
1. When will the cam come back up
2. When will we see EJ again on the nest
3. When will we see her with a new male partner
4. Who am I going to be seeing on the nest when I go to LG in May
This is the nature of Osprey watching.
I have to say though that just having EJ home safe and well is good enough for me, but it would be very sad for her to come all this way and not have chicks, and if she does have another nest, as long as she breeds successfully there that would be good, I know disappointing for us, but not for EJ :-)
All we can do is wait and see what transpires - you can never predict what will happen at any of the nests, and is probably what draws us to the fantastic world of Osprey watching.
Ooops sorry for going on a bit :-) (You can tell not much action happening at the mo)

Good morning, Mary, yes I'm still here. Questions 1, 2 and 3 are bubbling in my mind... which is very dark right now and has been for several days.
I am trying not to dwell on it too much Scylla, as it is totally out of our control, its all in EJ's talons!!! :-)
