  • Good that you're feeling more right, OG.  We had a sunny afternoon, too, and the evening seemed almost Springlike. Hope you feel ready for your Tuesday appointments after another day of rest.

Have been working my way through my To Do List, which seems to have things added onto the bottom of it, daily, however many things I cross off!

You'll just have to cut short that list of suitable tortures you've worked out for when the AC arrives.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

  • I'm hibernating. Expecting 35 max today. <sigh>

  • Oh, heck, AQ!  -----

Good Morning, Everyone.   Very misty and foggy here.

  • Good morning, Lindy!  EJ has pulled and he's on the nest as we speak!

  • Just heard - as Miriam enters the "terrible twos" this autumn, she will also become a big sister!  Horrendous thought!

Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!

  • Mild and dry this morning - no mist here.  OH is shopping at M&S and J has also gone to Carlisle to collect his train tickets for his postponed hospital visit - next month.  Got a small job for church - typing rotas for next four months and will also work on our dinner menus for a few weeks ahead.

Good news about EJ - although she does look rather surprised!

I saw first thing this morning, that she had had a visitor or two!  How exciting!

  • Still misty here.  Been doing various fiddly small tasks, but when my OH comes back from the allotment, we are going out to Bents Garden Centre - we want to get a couple of things.

Goodness, OG - you certainly have a different ethic to us as to catering:  I buy for about three days and then say "which would you like to eat tonight?" around about mid morning!  My Friend is very organised and she does weekly menus with one big shopping outing, followed by small 'top ups' when needed.

  • Morning all: Just popping in.

OG: Good you're doing better.  I'm more like Lindybird: I tend to shop for the week ahead with frequent "crisis" shopping for fresh veggies.

AQ: Isn't it supposed to be cooling down by now?

Clare: EJ has "pulled"? Does that mean what I think it might mean?
