EJ had a busy day yesterday, caused herself a lot of time and trouble by bringing in one the twiggiest, silliest sticks we've seen in a long time - but it was so nice to see her not looking despondent (anthropomorphism big time!).
Her evening was disturbed by the Pine Marten, and boy! did she disturb it?! :o
To be embellished...

She must have been on the nest most of the night then, certainly up to 12.00am

Hi all. Great vids Scylla, of EJ v PM. OMG I was so cross as i'd switched off less than 2 mins before it happened!
Lynette, EJ was still on the nest when I looked in at 5am.
I have not seen or heard anything Osprey for hours (checked recording.....nuffink)
So pleased you got the video of last night's antics with the PM Scylla, brilliant! I hope it's got the message to stay away.

Hi everyone.
Thanks for all the updates etc. Great to finally see EJ on the nest today. Even if only briefly. ENS just now.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.

Give or take a minute, EJ was on the nest from 21:00 to 06:00, a solid 9 hours :o She probably needed to give her feetz a rest on a nice-sized branch perch ;)
When I logged on to see EJ kinda crouched on the nest, I was convinced she'd had or was expecting company - how disappointing to be wrong :(
I have phoned Peter at Carnyx. He is on the case
