EJ had a busy day yesterday, caused herself a lot of time and trouble by bringing in one the twiggiest, silliest sticks we've seen in a long time - but it was so nice to see her not looking despondent (anthropomorphism big time!).
Her evening was disturbed by the Pine Marten, and boy! did she disturb it?! :o
To be embellished...
IMAGICAT
A flapping episode just occurred... and EJ flew, not sure if it was up to campost or away.
Good Morning SCYLLA and all who follow
Thank you for starting us off, your overnight reports and for the amazing video last night of EJ pouncing on the pinemartin, hopefully after getting the fright of it’s life, it will think twice about popping up to the nest. again.
While we see it in infra red it fills me with awe that EJ is in complete darkness and acts so swiftly, she really is phenomenal lol...
I was very happy to open up the webcam and there she was sitting in all her glory.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
DAYCAM 06:00hr... just made it!
(I have to rush to Glaslyn, where events are occurring !!! )
Still an empty nest, has EJ gone fishing. With EJs departure I will have to leave you to it SCYLLA.
Have a good webcam watching day ALL.
Morning all At least there's no snow
Good morning, all!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Good morning, PATILY :)
Cheerio, Mary, I'll be going soon too.
I'm at Minsmere today so I hope EJ appears soon.
Having seen pine martens in the fur for the first time yesterday, I applaud EJ for having a go at that one. They are not the small creatures I thought they were ... hopefully it's got the message and will not bother her any more.
Ej spoilt us last week and earlier this week for always being on the nest early in the morning and staying for ages Now she is keeping us waiting As long as she is OK, that is the main thing
