Interesting osprey sounds from around the nest yesterday, not always EJ's it seems. But the day began with a big accumulation of snow overnight which brought to mind the snow donut EJ had been sitting in during a past season. LG posted a pic of her on the Fish Perch on FB. As the snow melted during the day, EJ was on and off the nest. It is noted that her normal lookout location now and in past seasons is on the right side of the nest looking outward, towards what we think may be where she has looked for Odin. Thank You CC for starting us off with your great opening post (as always)
It’s an empty nest for now, and the weather seems to have improved, just a little light beginning to show.
What a day it turned out to be yesterday, one I am sure will be remembered for a long while, not only White YW, and the handsome Monty, but Dai Dot too, which just goes to show when an osprey disappears off the radar so to speak, it doesn’t always mean the worst has happened.
Now hopefully will see more of our known nests Ospreys arrive safely too. I think there were a lot of HAPPY OSPREYHOLICS at the end of the day yesterday.
PS. SCYLLA I have been sitting with this post trying to get it to post for last five minutes, all I get is burling wheel, so copied the whole lot and made a new post so hope this ones posts OK.

Oh I do sympathise, Mary, I expect we all know how it feels, thanks for persevering :) I've been having to upload pics to Imgur.com to post them as links, the darn box wouldn't populate. But something's up with my browser, too.

I managed to get a couple of snips of her before she went to stand in her usual position on the RH side of the nest.
Her back is frosty.
I hope a handsome Male arrives for her soon.
