June, Have you had a look at the link to Glaslyn Ospreys in my previous post above? Any thoughts please?
Kind regards, Ann
Gardenbirder, your long post inspired a long answer which has been going round in my mind. I probably still won't get it posted until my tonight. It is still mid afternoon here. So thanks for your lovely comment and I will eventually reply. In the meantime some less thought demanding pictures & comments.
I checked in at Manton Bay to hopefully find a sunset, but the bottom wide view cam is not available to me - temporarily I hope. But I was fortunate to be just in time to see a changeover.
CHANGEOVER AT MANTON BAY
I am impressed with the décor at the back of the nest - green scallops that match the green at the front of the nest. They must have hired a professional decorator. Uh-OH, I'm humanizing.
Nitelites were on when I left Manton Bay, but still daylight at LG>
I'm sure an osprey was on the nest briefly, but while I was fiddling about with captures, he was gone. I assume it was a male, probably EJ's new partner.
EJ is now settled back on her eggs.
was on cam last night about 1am/6am and saw some nice 2-way action and took some picture, but was then too tired to post them or make comments. So ANN your promised answer was neglected.
ANN, first of all I THANK YOU for your "long". :) but not in the least too long, communication. There is a lot of interest in there which has given me much to do and to think about. Hense my delay in answering.
