News from Abernethy Facebook yesterday - so it weren't no April Fool's joke! ;-D
This ended our happy day watching EJ on the nest - the last we saw of her was when she reacted and flew off... not screaming, but calling a bit like a skydancer, then adding some chirps:

We are eagerly anticipating the photographic "proof" promised by LG FB.
There were some odd snowflakes earlier but it's dry and windless now.
IMAGICAT
I think we might have just had an intruder in the vicinity. She was having a flap:
The screen froze - it then unfroze on an empty nest:
As I watched a large bird (EJ?) flew past the nest at speed - she returned a couple of minutes later:
She's now back to basking in the sunlight.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Great! She's facing the right way:
The obligatory sunlight on feathers shot:
I don't know the rules of FB, but RSPB LG have posted pics of EJ and the White Tailed Eagle.
