The cam has been down since yesterday evening. Carnyx have been informed.
Yesterday EJ favoured us with hours of photo opportunities, and they were taken advantage of (see the DU for the 29th), but we had no evidence of a potential suitor in the area.
However, reports of males starting to return after (probably) being delayed by bad weather are encouraging.
Here was EJ bringing in a stick, one of a few - just for the sake of a colourful intro ;)

2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!

Peter has reduced the 'bandwith' which has lowered the quality and the size of the picture BUT it seems to have made the stream more reliable. Hopefully this will at least give us sight of the nest which has to be better than nothing!.
Wendy have done and you have a PM.
Just popped in to see if webcam back up.
Thanks Peter and Mike for getting it working again.
I bet its freezing up there, looks like sleet on the lens.
I hope EJ has got her furry knickers on, as well as Chocoholix and Stingray ha ha.....

Just to show the wet scene at LG and the picture with the reduced bandwidth
Tiger and Chloe's Osprey Info
This is what happened last year, but the cam was reduced to a much lower resolution. This is better than last year's reduction in bandwidth, except that the aspect ration (proportions) seems to be somewhat skewed now---pushed in from the sides...

Good afternoon all. So happy the lovely EJ has arrived and looking so well. I did have a few doubts wether she would return but just so happy to see her! Hopes she gets an equally wonderful partner. She so deserves it after the sad events of last year. Thank you for the updates and great to see your posts again Scylla ! :)
Sadly I hate to say this, but the webcam is down again. I do understand the problems and I hope there will eventually be a quick fix.
Regards,
Ian.
