The cam has been down since yesterday evening. Carnyx have been informed.
Yesterday EJ favoured us with hours of photo opportunities, and they were taken advantage of (see the DU for the 29th), but we had no evidence of a potential suitor in the area.
However, reports of males starting to return after (probably) being delayed by bad weather are encouraging.
Here was EJ bringing in a stick, one of a few - just for the sake of a colourful intro ;)

I’m afraid to say the webcam is down again. Probably nothing much can be done until Sunday or Monday.

Ian.

As I said earlier it could be Sunday or Monday before the webcam gets fixed sadly, when Peter returns home from his break.
Mike B said: In the meantime Peter will monitor it as much as he can and has asked me to alert him of failures. What a guy!

Second that Mike ... next time you speak with Peter please let him know just how much I appreciate all the Carnyx cams (Peregrines, Barn Owls ... coverage is great)

Just to be clear he's not on holiday but working on setting up other cameras! It is now thought to be an issue at LG which is causing the loss of stream. Toby MAY be able to effect a 'workaround' before he gets the proper fix installed.
I will Wendy.

Thank you for the explanation MIke, that's very helpful. Hope they manage a more permanent fix soon.
