A quiet day yesterday after an early appearance by EJ... until the peace was shattered by (my interpretation) EJ's alarm-screaming as she chased an intruder with her fish. Or! What's your interpretation?
She then landed on the nest, flapping frantically for a few moments, then flew off with fish and we saw no more of her.

I would like to think that that meant we did have a second osprey at LG yesterday afternoon. Please, whoever's up there, send a more welcome visitor today ;)

According to me, the cam froze at about 21:50hr yesterday evening and the blue Carnyx screen appeared @ 22:01hr, and so it has stayed. I have emailed Carnyx.

Just setting up Arkaig on satellite laptop when heard tiny chirp and campost scratching... delayed reporting as had to sign in on sat-lap ;)
She's on the nest :))) It's breezy.
So good to see EJ in the feather :-)
Tiger and Chloe's Osprey Info
Wow! She's really spoiling us today:
The wind has really picked up.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Waiting patiently in a stiff breeze
She is still standing patiently... no she has turned, steps into the cup, picks up a piece of bedding, out of it again and attempts to move a stick at the back of the nest. No, perhaps that's not what she wants. Into the cup again and picks up another piece of bedding material, before touching the large stick at the back again. More waddling into the cup, and picking at annoying bits...
Flap across the nest
And she leaves
Who's about, then, EJ?
Off she goes:
LOL fidgety gibbets - what was phrase?
What's that?
Into the cup
On look out
