Terrific MARY Thank you
Thanks Mary.
Thank you Mary. Ian
Many thanks Mary. And a newpaper article here - the Westmoreland Gazette 26 March 2018
2018 will be the eighteenth year of breeding osprey at Bassenthwaite
If both KL and Unring return it will be their sixth year together
Since the LDOP began in 2001, the ospreys have nested successfully at Bassenthwaite every year, raising over 30 chicks

Good ol' White 14--nothing like choosing the widest part of the Sahara! Hope he makes it safely back to the Lake District again this year.
Kind regards, Ann
White 14 has now entered Algeria

What an Osprey White 14 is, that is not the easiest of migrations is it. He must take the scenic route - hope he makes a safe migration again!
I always think of White 14 as one of our "super ospreys" and another record breaker having visited the most countries during his migration.
I think it was 31??
But I just hope he stays safe and gets himself home. Do we know if he has his own nest yet?
I was horrified to see that White 14 chose to cross the Sahara at its widest point! I hope he stays safe! Is it a bit of a short cut? Was it him who toured most of Europe when he returned?
Bassenthwaite got a mention on the BBC NorthWest News, today! "Everyone has their eyes on the sky," they said!
