EJ gave us great views, including a keeper that greeted Mike yesterday morning (below). We are still waiting for a suitable suitor (hehe, that was for scylla). She reported that the pine marten did indeed show up in the late evening. Maybe s/he read my start to yesterday's DU thread (now maybe renamed DO, I suppose). Also VERY notable is BNN's master document that lists a history of threads for the various nests. Check it out and bookmark it!________________________________________

Well advised!
Birdies LG DU update.
GoodMorning all No EJ for a while I see
Sad and disappointed a bit of an "atmosphere"
Nice to be able to see the nest in the sunshine, even if it is an empty one! Hope that EJ is getting some R&R, and tucking in to plenty of fish before her busy time ahead.
Good morning, Patily.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Hi Patily. Good to see you.
A certain gentleman asked after you last week!!
Morning all - empty nest at the moment
I see Black 80, the Threave male has returned so hopefully this indicates the start of the males coming north!
It looks like another bright, dry but probably still cold day at LG. Ian

Still ENS (Empty Nest Syndrome), though I've had brief glimpses of some adorable coal tits in the grass at the back of the nest. Awwwwwww.
I just popped back in to see if EJ had made an appearance, it certainly is ENS Clare.
Will be glad when the centre is open then we may get an update to tell us if EJ is sitting under the nest or away somewhere else.
We just cannot help but wonder where she is when there are these long periods of an empty nest :-)
