Well folks, its been an exciting day despite the weather. The middle chick increased its wing exercising and almost went this afternoon but no, it was this evening at about 19.37pm that it fledged. Alison posted a link on the main blog. In case anyone missed it , it is: www.youtube.com-watch Its only short but it shows clearly it taking off.
At present we don't know where it is. The eldest and youngest are on the nest with we hope middle one on a tree sheltering from the wind. Only the morning will tell and hopefully when there is a fish delivery it will come back onto the nest
The eldest has had a few forays out into the big wide world also but #3 is still at home but has been practising. What will tomorow bring??

Suppose that EJ is watching all this from the nearby CameraTree: she may have left them deliberately to sort themselves out. At least we know that everyone has had some fish tonight.
Hi everyone. Thanks for all the informative updates and brilliant pictures. It's always great to read about the LG Ospreys. Makes me feel that I've not missed a second of the action. So, many thanks are due :-)
Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Thanks everyone. Having a quiet chuckle and this confirms why I don't even try to attempt to identify the GEM's:)
Great reading and captures and a big "high five" to LYNETTE for the YouTube clip.
EJ arrived with another fish 20.17 ... nobody interested!
EDIT ... one has moved over to be fed!
EJ with a fish. :-)
She is now feeding #? . I can't tell.
Evening everyone. EJ has just flown in with a beautiful 'whole' fish and is now feeding the two who have gone without. If only the wretched wind would drop it would be a glorious summer's evening there. At least the osps will have had plenty of experience of high winds by the time they leave! My thanks too for all the posts, clips and pix and well done Lynette on the YouTube clip. Hi Gary. I had wondered where you were last week. Hope you enjoyed your break with the family,
I'd just like to say (at the risk of drawing attention to what you all so splendidly ignored) that in the 16 years I've been online I've never seen a group of people ignore trolling as magnificently as this group did today. There's usually one person who can't resist retaliating and it's all downhill from then on. What a pleasure to be part of such a mature gathering!
All I've got is rock'n'roll, All I'll get is growing old....
Think its #3 otherwise affectionately know as Titch she is feeding Brenda
