Well folks, its been an exciting day despite the weather. The middle chick increased its wing exercising and almost went this afternoon but no, it was this evening at about 19.37pm that it fledged. Alison posted a link on the main blog. In case anyone missed it , it is: www.youtube.com-watch Its only short but it shows clearly it taking off.
At present we don't know where it is. The eldest and youngest are on the nest with we hope middle one on a tree sheltering from the wind. Only the morning will tell and hopefully when there is a fish delivery it will come back onto the nest
The eldest has had a few forays out into the big wide world also but #3 is still at home but has been practising. What will tomorow bring??

Its youngest, Lynette.
A bit of preening going on now, keeping those important feathers in trim.

Odin flies in with a fish ... closely followed by EJ. The whole family is on the nest ... Odin chirruping at an intruder!
EDIT - at least I think Odin brought a fish! Yes he did ... its under EJ's foot :-)

Looks like a fish delivery - 5 on the nest, Odin has just flown off. EJ has it in her talons.
Intruder must still be around .... Odin flew off, but EJ hasn't commenced the feeding
She's not started feeding them yet and nobody is in a hurry, must be because of the intruder alert. The one at the back is being very vocal and is now coming for some food - looks like the youngest.
