Well folks, its been an exciting day despite the weather. The middle chick increased its wing exercising and almost went this afternoon but no, it was this evening at about 19.37pm that it fledged. Alison posted a link on the main blog. In case anyone missed it , it is: www.youtube.com-watch Its only short but it shows clearly it taking off.
At present we don't know where it is. The eldest and youngest are on the nest with we hope middle one on a tree sheltering from the wind. Only the morning will tell and hopefully when there is a fish delivery it will come back onto the nest
The eldest has had a few forays out into the big wide world also but #3 is still at home but has been practising. What will tomorow bring??

Is it possible that these guys are the cutest things you have ever seen?
#3 mucking about with twigs - :-)
I love these little guys
It was Eldest Lynette - I'm sure of it - check out the forehead ?
I love the little Odin-type r2d2 noises they make now and again
I went out & missed them flying off again - glad to hear that #2 is being brave enough to take short flights.
#3 is now doing what # 2 did yesterday before taking off into the wild blue--
Morning All. I had to read all the overnight blogs to see when No 2 returned. Thank you so much for all reports and pictures.
Titch still trying very hard this morning.
Youngster 3 is certainly wanting to go :)
He keeps standing on EJ's perch....
-- nearly off the edge!
Not sure what is happening whether its the younges trying to go or whether it is the middle one.
