Well folks, its been an exciting day despite the weather. The middle chick increased its wing exercising and almost went this afternoon but no, it was this evening at about 19.37pm that it fledged. Alison posted a link on the main blog. In case anyone missed it , it is: www.youtube.com-watch Its only short but it shows clearly it taking off.
At present we don't know where it is. The eldest and youngest are on the nest with we hope middle one on a tree sheltering from the wind. Only the morning will tell and hopefully when there is a fish delivery it will come back onto the nest
The eldest has had a few forays out into the big wide world also but #3 is still at home but has been practising. What will tomorow bring??

A day or two ago Tiger said Titch was a mere 50 days old. I think Titch is 6 days younger than the eldest . Anyone know for sure if that is correct?
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
Barbara Jean: Didn't know the Saudi Lads - must've been before my time. I know we've got U.S., Aussie, a good variety of UK folks, and Finland -regulars, plus on the "official" page folks from Sweden Spain France, you name it. Nice, isn't it?
Good grief - what's going on now. Titch flat out. Can't hear anything
There's gotta be a fish incoming....
Alarm call and Titch plays dead. Barbara & Annette - I haven't seen the Saudi lads this year. I'm sure there are many countries represented - reading but not posting. As I did for 12 months. Ah ha, all three back on nest.
One short alarm call from the camera post (I think) and Titch hit the deck . LOL He is not as brave all alone on the nest . Looks like it may be #2 that just flew in with a perfect landing
Now here is the eldest. Titch is food soliciting . Is fish on the way?
I had the sound down for a bit. Oh well, no fish. I'm wrong again, but what else is new? :-)
Eldest flew off. Must have realized the dinner bell by Titch & #2 was wishful thinking .
