RSPB have advised the live stream is to go live this weekend so it shouldn’t be too long now until we get our first glimpse of the nest.

Hopefully we’ll see the beautiful EJ return soon to her nest and long may she reign.
But until then, a thread to record all our observations until the ospreys arrive and the DU starts.
Stunning Scylla. I have quite a lump in my throat.
Aww Scylla, THANKS YOU SO MUCH, what would we do without you. Fantastic to see her arrive, such a great picture this year. Ditto Moffer!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Yes, thanks very much Scylla. Great videos. Lovely to see her nest cupping and looking like she's raring to go. Let's hope she has a more peaceful season than last year, whoever her suitor may be.
Well, there will be year when EJ doesn't come back, but this year 2018 IS NOT THE YEAR!!! <3

Absolutely stunning Syclla! It like someone checking out a hotel room, testing the bed etc. Oh, it's so good to see her,she looks so fit and well.
What a wonderful video scylla, I think that's the best quality I have seen from this nest. Watched it full screen on YT and she looks amazing!

One of our stalwarts MaryGK is out of internet contact BUT I have managed to get hold of her and she has asked me to let you all know that she is currently dancing a Highland jig with excitement!!!! I told her she was in good company!!!!!!!!
Birdies LG DU update.
And Mike, I wanted to tell MARGO as I've done in previous years, in case she hadn't known....
It's nice to think that perhaps Margo watched her on her journey.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
