The Foulshaw webcam is now live.
Hope the ospreys use this nest this year!
Yes! Just now i saw MOVEMENT! There must be a chick! :D
2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!
Thanks OTTER and JANE What a chilly day to come into the world
Finally very sure and will post some captures once i edited out the page-elements. I think there will be a bobble-head in them caps! :)
ok, here goes: YW lands again on the nest, 35 slowly off the eggs and chick, to fly off for a comfort-flight? Never mind YW while he tries to learn his chick all about "twigs-on-the-nest-discipline on a windy day" and some heavy lifting, do try and spot the bobble-head for yourself! The head is still very heavy after all this breaking free of the egg (and possibly the shell :p )
she's off, it is up to YW now
and did you spot the bobblehead?!
continuing the "episode" of twig-discipline ... (of course feel free to try and spot the bobblehead again some more!)
and young chick, remember, sometimes it is easier to move around using your wings ^^
and off he goes...
he had seen 35 coming in i suppose...
it is all about shielding and covering, she says...
very fresh official Tweet
Aww, thank you Otter that's great news!
