The Foulshaw webcam is now live.
Hope the ospreys use this nest this year!
15ish minutes later we find YW on the nest and the cam has zoomed in
has there been a fish delivery? (have i missed a fish delivery?) or is she off preening on the perch tree?
he gets up and...
ooo egg, first time spying it! There should be three now, Foulshaw thinks, maybe that is why we can now spot the top of one of them, despite the egg cup being fairly deep?! :)
ah, old habits never die ;)
2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!

I am surprised noone else seems to watch this cam? The link above is where it’s at. Before the glitch you had to sometimes refresh the page and click a second time on the player-arrow. But it all worked fine. The refreshing and second-time-clicking seem no longer necessary, or not for me that is.
From wednesday, during some cam-maintenance, a Foulshaw-volunteer on Twitter posted a picture of the three chicks from last year!
He/she also mentions they do expect there are three eggs in the nest by now. (And one was seen eariler this week for sure, see above.)
One very alert Osp on the eggs when i checked back in just now:
Maybe the back of the head-pattern will help me tell if this was 35 or YW. On some days i am totally helpless with ID-ing these two.
clearly some other bird around. cam is on the way to zooming in, i had not yet seen this left-hand side structure to the nest.
she is screaming... yelling... but what?
cam-volunteer prepared for the chance the Osp would go stand up and to try for a glimpse of the egg/eggs...
but it came to nothing....
Hi OM I came here topost and found you already here I haven't watched for a while because I thought the cam was done Am I right in thinking that is YW incubating?
Yes Patily, YW is what i am thinking too.... and hello there :) They repaired the cam a few times over the week, esp on wednesday i think this was succesfull.
Does anyone know the status of this nest regarding eggs and when each was laid. I assume we now have three.
The nest seems to have passed its sell by date by watchers.
I am sure Jaydee will be keeping track on Blue 35.
No one knows for sure how many eggs there are at Foulshaw Keith, but there are eggs. We will just have to wait until we see some bobbleheads.
Have had a look back and looks like first egg was around 15th April.

YW just rose from the eggs for B35 to take over incubation. Looks like three eggs here? (click on pic to enlarge)
Well caught Sandra. Looks like three to me!
Birdies LG DU update.
Sandra are you going to post that capture on the website as it seems no one has a clue to date about the number of eggs.
