PatO: Happy Birthday! Do hope there's some kind of celebration on the horizon. :-)
Our newspapers here in Iowa gave over one page to the snow and storms over there!! Stay safe everyone!
Happy Birthday Pat
Many happy returns, Pat!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Happy birthday, Pat!
Good afternoon! A dark afternoon here, but nothing falling from the sky.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to PAT!
Heather – imagining you enjoying the Giggling Granddaughters!
Good to see appearances on here from KAREN and KORKY – liked the 2 feet of snow – didn’t understand the other one – I thought Fred Flintstone walked in bare feet, not ladies’ shoes!
ANNETTE – glad your Sister had a reasonable hospital trip yesterday, and that it is snowing in the mountains at last. I hope the whale count is happening this week.
OH did well with the little shopping trip today, and won’t need to go again till Monday. J has put in the claim for his cancelled train journeys. Three days off work for school closure – then jury service next week, unless courts are closed – some have been this week. Obviously no plans for the weekend, unless somebody decides to venture out to church on Sunday.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Thank you :) My birthday tea party consisted of just me and one friend, as the others were not able to get here. We sat and watched the very heavy snowfall as we ate birthday cake. And watched the poor birds trying - and failing - to eat some of the fat balls, which are frozen solid. I may be forced to eat birthday cake for the next few days ... a real hardship!
What an awful thing to have to do, Pat! Sorry though, that your friends couldn't make it. Better to be safe.
Thanks for your sympathy, Heather. Anyone want a piece of cake?
I'm sure that we would all help you out if we could :-)
I wish I had a troika.
