Thought I'd give Diane a break this week. Sorry, no pretty pic, but here's a link - posted by Gardenbirder late Saturday - to a funny BBC page re the Wales earthquake: http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-43100524 :-))
Yes, Heather. I'd picked out something which was a kind of dream trip for us, and had been envisaging us enjoying it. Now nothing else can come close!
Our Youngest is visiting us on Friday, with the children. It's half term so he and our d.in law have each had days off with the children, now that she has gone back to work. I shall have to find time to do some baking.
Hope you find something in the end Lindybird.
Well, went up to the doctors this morning and asked to see a nurse, but only the bloods nurse was on. Told them my symptoms and said I ought to see a doctor. Could get me in with the duty doctor, 1 more before me. Great. It turns out I have an infection in my right leg, I thinks its a reoccurrence of cellulitis although the doctor didn't say. On strong antibiotics for a week and see how it goes, if no better to go back. Waiting game now.
Thanks for all continuing news. Clare hope you enjoyed Minsmere.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Good Morning, All. Dry here again - a few days of this will give the soaked ground a chance to dry out a little. We are all saying here that we've never known such a wet winter.
Lynette, I'm glad you got chance to see a doctor and that you've started some treatment - hope it soon gives you results.
I'm off out to local shop to get eggs for my baking, plus later off out on a shopping trip to John Lewis with my Friend. Have a good day, everyone.
Here's today's pic:
Good morning, all. I had a lovely day at Minsmere yesterday and I'm now going though my photos (an almost miserly 390!). It's amazing how many photos you can take when surrounded by such lovely birdlife!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
No doubt Limpy's Robin will be among them!
Birdies LG DU update.

LYNNETTE - hope the leg improves soon - cellulitis is a horrible thing.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Hi Clare. Love the Snow Bunting. Reminds me of Titchwell years ago.
