Diane: I suspect your poor fingers are frozen solid, so started the new thread. :-) Do hope your friendly neighborhood critters show up when the temperatures rise.
Check back for lovely pic of Kingfisher (and more) from Clare; Lindybird's Second Christmas and updates on cruises; OG's plans to attend a masked ball - and more!
I drove all over the local neighborhood today: Library; hardware store; charity shop; Bed, Bath and Beyond (looking for towels); Habitat for Humanity's ReStore warehouse; University's hazardous waste center; County electronic recycling center; pet shop, beauty supply shop; and two supermarkets! Phew!
I read about that. Saying that I've also read that wild boar are more formidable than they appear, though this bloke didn't seem to have done anything to obviously provoke them.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
I wouldn't tangle with a wild anything......
Had our beef & carrot stew, with onions and heavenly dumplings, and it was pretty good, if I say it myself. Dug out some of our own green beans from summertime in the allotment to go with it. Avoided a row about my buying the new pan, as he enjoyed it, but he did ask where I was going to keep it! -- ahem....
Now watching "La La Land" on a DVD which I told our Youngest to buy my OH as part of his Christmas present. I knew it would be a surprise. The tunes are catchy but it seemed to lack something. Saw it in the cinema when it first came out.

I've been through my Abberton photos but I'm not going to tempt fate by posting them now. I'll make sure I do them first thing in the morning.
A very happy Limpy is watching the West Ham game on MotD!
