Many thanks jaydee. What a pity that the third egg failed to hatch, but two healthy chicks is still a good brood. I wonder whether the very dry spell the country has enjoyed over the past month or so has had any affect on fishing? The stats make interesting reading too.

Thanks again JAYDEE and thanks too for how easy it is to check on past posts on your site which I have just been reading as I'd left out a couple of dates from my notes

Nest 3 news
Thanks, JD, for the latest news. I wonder if there is any correlation between the feeding patterns of a pair of parents and the return rate of the chicks at 2, 3, and 4 years of age. Do chicks who are fed often and until they drop into a food coma have a better return rate than chicks who are denied food while still food begging when their parent chooses to stop feeding them and incubate instead.
Kind regards, Ann
