As almost everyone here will know Brenda H a long term poster passed away on Thursday 19 January 2017. Just before Christmas her husband got in touch with me to ask if we be interested in seeing pictures dating from 1976 and before. Some of you will remember Brenda posting similar pictures in this forum some years ago.I asked for the pictures and here are the results

Thank you, Tiger. Also, it's very kind of Brenda's husband to give us the chance to see them.
Brenda is sadly missed on these threads, having been such a staunch supporter of all things osprey, and also such a good friend to all of us posters.
Indeed. I think Brenda must have been one of the original Good Eggs- both on and off the thread. Thank you Tiger.
These photos are great! Please pass our thanks to Brenda's husband for letting us see them, Tiger.
It still doesn't quite seem real that Brenda has gone.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
A lovely reminder from Brenda's posts, thanks to her husband for sharing them.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I so miss Brenda: she really was a "Good Egg". She always knew exactly what to say when someone needed a word of encouragement.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Thanks, Tiger, and thanks to Brenda's husband for the gorgeous photos. Brenda is very much missed.
Kind regards, Ann
Here were those other pictures posted on 10th June 2011
Now what is 10th June significant for? Prince Philip's Birthday? or even special for a poster on this board! :)
Thanks, Tiger, That is a fascinating thread, the 10th June 2011 thread you have posted a link to above. Is it about time to post another similar thread, asking for stories of how various Forumites discovered Ospreys?!
