Hi folks, It was a windy and damp day yesterday. Lots of vigorous exercising by Middle and Youngest. Thought at one time the middle one would take off, it was certainly doing so across the nest. I think 5 fish in all were delivered by both parents between them. All at rest now. Ahhhhhhhhnight, night, see you all in the morning.

Brenda H I suppose it all comes down to basic instinct, but it is a miracle that they will go when the tine is right for them. Wouldn't it be good if we knew what goes on in their minds. It is all part of the mystery for us and that is what makes ospreys so special I think.
Margobird
Big preening session at the moment, they have to look their best when they eventually leave the nest on a first flight.
Linda, no doubt, like yourself, I have to stop myself putting some funny captions to the pictures.
Intruder I think, 2 laid down but they are all back up now.
Missed the intruder, as I was busy reading another thread - there is so much to keep up with on here!
Almost 3 adults now.....
I love their wings!
Lindybird tell me about it when I logged on this morning I had 367 emails to plough through. I chose to have the automated facility so I don't miss anything. As I didn't get on last night as we were out I knew there would be a lot to catch up on. I am thinking that we may have a fledge as the middle one seems so keen now. Just hovered about the nest again.
Logged on again and thanks for great pics Lindybird and Brenda and for all your updates. They are trying really hard. at the moment. Eldest is also on the nest.
