Hi folks, It was a windy and damp day yesterday. Lots of vigorous exercising by Middle and Youngest. Thought at one time the middle one would take off, it was certainly doing so across the nest. I think 5 fish in all were delivered by both parents between them. All at rest now. Ahhhhhhhhnight, night, see you all in the morning.

Nice to see you over on this side Daisy Ray ! Not too many chances left of all the family on the nest . Never having seen the change of guard at Lenin's tomb - I take it you mean precison and timing
Lovely capture again Brenda and the sun is finally coming out at LG
Looks like the middle youngster has joined the youngest to huddle together and keep warm with the damp weather conditions.,

Oh, yes, Cirrus. Definitely the precision and timing! You have to see it to believe it. I saw it in 1982 and I can still see it in my head as clearly as if it were yesterday!
BTW Teresa has put a video of the incident on the main blog. I had forgotten that both EJ and Odin were mantling at the same time; and all chicks lying as flat as their fat tummies allow!!!!
Unknown said: Good for you Lynette - I don't yet have the book but it's on my list. But I am a very delighted member of RSPB so I hope that counts :)

EJ wakes them up. Is Odin around ?
And in comes EJ and disturbes the two by landing nearest the cam and starting to do some housework.
Mmm I wish, Brenda . The hungry youngster is giving EJ a hint having got mostly left out of Odin's fish.
Two very annoyed youngsters, and off EJ goes again. I think they thought food was coming, no such luck.having a grumble.
Thanks for those, Lynette - it was all a bit pointless wasn't it. :) Disturbing their snooze and getting their hopes up.EJ should have brought a fish.
Back later, going for lunch.
