Hi folks, It was a windy and damp day yesterday. Lots of vigorous exercising by Middle and Youngest. Thought at one time the middle one would take off, it was certainly doing so across the nest. I think 5 fish in all were delivered by both parents between them. All at rest now. Ahhhhhhhhnight, night, see you all in the morning.

Oh dear, must have got my potatoes & petunias mixed up, its a long time since I heard the song!
Here now are the two brothers (??)
Good morning Cirrus. Know it is daft but I hate to see them sitting in all that rain looking so dejected, makes me feel sad. Not sure if I can hear EJ calling somewhere near or perhaps it is the other youngster.
Margobird
A little off topic, excuse me - Laird just delivered a fish to his ravenous family.
Thanks for the link to hearing the song, Joan - thought it started with an appropriate line- "A tale told to me by a little bird..."
Don't worry, margobird - they have lots of waterproof feathers to keep them dry now and they have eaten well already today.
I'm off out on shopping mission now for a bit.
Not much we can say this morning, is there ? Just two, very wet 'chicks', bored and so wanting to be able to fly, but not having mastered it yet.
11 31 and fish delivery courtest of Odin I think, All youngsters on the nest now and is Odin calling for EJ or is there an intruder.
Muddled nwo is it Odin, EJ and the middle and youngest. definaitely an intruder.
The family
Hi everyone, FIVE on the nest as we speak, don't think we'll see that much more this season, just lovely :o)
Odin just arrived with a fish ... intruder followed .... Odin chirping at the intruder .... EJ mantling, others lying low
