Clare Bailey said: So in other words I have been busy, until watching Strictly!Have you a favourite? This is the first time I've been able to watch the whole series. [/quote]I watch Strictly avidly, never miss it. This year there are so many good dancers, and most of them deserving of the prize. Can't help being impressed by both Debbie, who can still do the splits, and Susan, who is too short to look good, but is so entertaining.

Hi all, not been on all week. HeatherB - not sure what you mean "how Lynette's went". Don't drive. Anyway, am pleased to say made my two Christmas cakes today - one for son and one for us. Just got to hiccup, feed them and then marzipan and ice.
Turned chilly down here but reasonably pleasant. Didn't get the rain that Lancashire and Wales had.
Lovely to read all your news. Have a good weekend all.

Just looked back briefly. Lindbird, love those pictures of Lisbon. I take it you sailed up the Tagus and past the Belem Tower and Henry the Navigator monument - you may have posted them earlier, can't remember. Takes me back to 1963 when as a schoolgirl I was on board the school ship MS Devonia doing just what you have been doing. Only things will have changed a lot since then.
